check and see if you alternators (since its good) charge is even making it to the battery, use a volt meter on the two battery post while its running and see what the voltage output is, it should be higher than twelve. If its not then its a wiring problem (since you say the alternator is good) the first thing i would do is open up the wiring harness close to the alternator (its a big one) and find the alternators fuse link and test it for continuity on both sides. If you alternator and battery is are good, and you aren't charging its in the wiring. Its possible when the battery died the first time and you jumped it you blew this fuse link.
When it was running the battery amps were going up to 13 something I really think this is the voltage regulator if my car has an external one but I'm not near it to look at it right now and in the process of finding a ride to go see
i just had the same issue this weekend..batteries good..alternators good...my terminals were shot! 6 bucks at autozone took me 15 mins to replace runs like a champ now..maybe that's it
You have a IVR(on backside of alternator)Remove covered screw and ground this will full field alternator.(Go to max charge) Check for continuity in output to strter relay.
