I just bought a 1988 Mustang GT 3 days ago. This car is in 100% mint cond. It has 61,435 miles never seen rain or winters. My question is.. Im going to the dragway tomorrow is there any quick adjustments i could make to improve the E.Ts? This Mustang is ALL stock with an automatic trans. what should it run in the 1/4 mile?

Bump up your timing up a few degrees, remove the air silencer, set your TPS voltage to.99v, K&N panel filter...

make sure your tires are inflated right , 1/4 tank of high test gas or less, remove spare, jack & etc. , bump up the timing to around 14, practice starting & shifting at correct rpm, you could remove the rear seat, try to drive in a straight line as possible,. there are other things you could do but this would help some . we all want your mustang to do its best. good luck . let us know .

your probably likely to see a high 14 to a low 15

bone stock auto im going to say low to mid 15s depending on the elevation of the track.
