Default act in intake tube

I am doing a 5.0 conversion (with supercharger) in a old pick up that I modified a 1990 harness for and was wondering if it would be better for the act sensor to be in the stock location or on the intake tube. Never heard to much discussion on this subject what do you all think.

i did it years ago on a 93 gt i used to own, never had a problem. ive done searches on it & some people say dont do it because the the computer is looking at the act for a certain tempature. who knows
