Default buying a 5.0

hey guys, what's up? thinking about selling my 98 gt & looking for a fox body to buy. i know the 5.0 is cheaper & easier to work on. so, i was hoping you guys could give me some things to look for when searching for one. maybe some years are better than others, etc. what's a good price range for one? i don't mind repainting if i have to, minor engine work, no wrecking job specials. anyway, thanks in advance.

89-92 are the best engines since they have MAF, I think that the 93 had hyperteuric (spelling error) pistons or something that aren't as good as the previous years. You can find a good fox for around 3-4 thousand dollars. Good luck and it's nice to know that we have another person almost converted.

I payed $2500 for a LX Mustang 5.0 with 96000 miles on it. The body is in ok condition so i would say you can a good deal for around 3-4K.

Just like badtzmaru said - dont forget about the 94 and 95 5.0. I have a 94 GT and I love it. IMO it looks alot better than the Fox also.
