I'm down in Leonardtown, about 20-25 minutes south of MIR.

I think all that's left as far as pulling it is one exhaust bolt that's rusted solid. I picked up a pair of bolt cutters so I'll get that cut first thing tomorrow & hopefully get it out. Once it's pulled I'm thinking it should be pretty easy.

I'm hoping the new flywheel, clutch, & trans will all bolt up with no problem & putting it back in will hopefully be easy.

I have maybe a foot of clearance under the car... the bolt cutters need like 2 feet to open wide enough for the bolt... I ended up taking the blade off of a hack saw & used it to cut the bolt all the way around. Then I took two ratchets & just tightened the bolt until it sheared off.

SHE IS OUT! All that's left is to remove the old pilot bearing & start the reassembly. I'm going to try the wet paper method to pull it (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1xuR7T8G1Ys) first. If that doesn't work I'll go by AutoZone & pick up a pilot bearing puller when I go to return the bolt cutters.

The wet paper trick worked like a charm. I had started reassembly but realized I needed new flywheel dowel pins & 2 new pressure plate bolts because 2 of them were stripped. Had to wait a couple of days for the dealer to get them in.

At this point the flywheel, clutch, & bell housing are on; but I lost the starter bolts. I ordered them through the dealer but they gave me the wrong ones. Today I ordered 2 starter bolts, new cross member bolts, FRPP header bolts that have the allen key center, & a new clutch cable from LMR.

$100 for the throttle cable is unreal.
