how well do these cars take systems, 250 watt rms power w/ stock alternator.

i havent had any problems at all, systems in these cars seem to be ment to be. im running 450x4 kenwood for the factory applications and 1000/1 jl for the subs, beats hard, also have a 300 farad cap though. like i said, no problems

youll have to upgrade the alt and the alts power wire.

personally i wouldnt put a loud system in a mustang

I got mine with the factory Mach 460 system in 1994, which is 460 watts.
Then I added a 250 watt amp with 8 inch sub in the trunk. Alt handles both just fine.
