i recently got a parts car and started taking it apart when i noticed it had kyb gas a just shocks all the way around, they must have some miles and years on them bc the guy i got the car from said he hasnt even touched the car in a couple of years. should i salvage the shocks and possibly use them on my car or not even waste my time? there was no way to even test the shocks life bc the car had 2 flats and was missing the rear rims

they're used parts man, if there's nothing wrong with your shocks don't waste your time, I like KYB but they aren't that great.

Well it only takes a couple of mins to swap them out so its not that big of a deal. You could always just ship them to me and I will use them lol. I'm still running factory 93 shocks/struts

yea ive never used the gas-a-just ones but i heard there not that great, i know some guys that were running them with lowered cars though, im gonna lower mine b4 spring but i dunno which shocks im gonna go with yet

there's nothing extra special about them, they're better than parts store specials and A LOT cheaper than the higher up brands
