valve float?

Vlv float is when the rotational weight over powers the spring, therefore ur engine flatlines wont rev any higher and quits making power (that guy) knows all too well what float is! Thanks for thinking im ignorant! The question was answer many times! There is a small nominal difference in the ecam n this one being used point taken! But with that setup it wont turn high enogh to float!

i did hear the motor running and there didnt seem to be and hesitation lag or bog you get with valve float, but the motor was under no load as the car was in an undriveable condition. i would have to say that it wasnt floating in my opinion, but that was just from revving up a freestanding motor a few times. i was just not sure of the set up bc of the cam being used with used parts which i never even heard of before! judging by what you said Venomantidote95 i think everything is alright, bc from what i heard when it was running i didnt think it was floating and i just wanted someone to confirm my thoughts. i am goin 2 tear it down to to be sure bc i couldnt believe my ears when he told me the car had all used stuff in there, i wanna be sure the cam is in good shape and replace the used stuff. my initial thought was maybe theres no float bc the cam lobes have been wiped out in intial start up but im always thinkin worst case. the motor sounded good though i was surprised, very responsive

Fact of the matter too many times people use there stock wornout stuff with a new can. Only if u have ur springs tested at a machine shop or have ur own spring tester and know ur rates. Should u do such!
