i understand that the firing order, cam, and intake is different, but if i got an aftermarket cam and intake manifold, would the came change the firing order? or would i need to swap computers? what all would i need to make thise a HO motor, including the intake and cam?

89 h.o had forged flat tops, , truck motors to my knowledge are not forged and may have more of a dish on the piston top to lower compression, you'd have to take a pic of what you got and post it for verification
