Default Alignment?

So my steering wheel is shaking like a mad man. Last time i had tires put on my car i was told that my drivers side wheel was bent and they were not able to balance it correctly because of that. Now would it be pointless if i get an alignment done to try and correct
at least some of the shaking. Or will it not do me any good because my wheel is bent?

if its vibrating, it's almost certain to be due to that bent wheel. An alignment will not effect this at all, it will only potentially fix pull or incorrect tire wear

I am most likely just gonna get the wheel fix first. But now it gives me an excuse to look for new wheels hahaha

If you don't fix the wheel then the vibration will just tear up the front end. Wheel bearings, steering joints etc. And eventually your suspension and/or steering linkage will fail. While driving.
