Transmission output shaft leak
I've tried doing some research and searching through threads, couldn't get some straight out answers.....
Here's my problem, i first noticed my output shaft leak when i jacked up the front of my car, figured it would be the gasket where the driveshaft enters the tranny. Went and bought a new gasket and replaced it. Started to pull my motor tonight, jacked up the front end, and the ****ing tranny starts leaks again in the very same spot.
I read somewhere to replace my driveshaft slip yolk. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanx guys!

well first off bubba is correct. the "seal" is no more than a dust cover... the bushing is bad. but since the bushing is bad... you may have grooved the yoke as well.
expect to do both when you pull it... it might be easier to just find a new tailshaft rather than find the bushing and do it
