RE: made some more progress today
You forgot to ad they have a much better heat disapating,And WOW you get really pissed when someones disagrees with your great knowledge, and you did'nt state that the intake and heads had been worked so i assumed that they was just bolted straight on.So yes i've done plenty research and im not downing you for running cast heads just i know its not possible with just bolting P's on and running so calm down and good luck with the motor..

also with aluminum heads they will warp easier from heat. yea i do kinda dislike when someone doubts my knowledge. i take alot of time to plan things and etc. so my bad
also heres a link to a bunch of guys around 300rwhp with P heads http://socalhorsepower.com/forum/sho...5&pagenumber=1
also ive stated the facts of this motor awhile ago but its cool ppl forget

quik..I would have to disagree a bit..more aluminum heads get you in the 300 out of the box,now to get that flow you'll will have to spend some $$$$ and some elbow grease to get there...now I'm not sure your like me on this but I like to take different routes than most as they buy horsepower I like finding it so t hat means I use gt-40 irons and make them out flow a out of box alum. set...is it cheaper ..yes if you don't include my time. but it's the fact you can't buy my horsepower at a speedshop in a box

Here are the specs i found and took off the site quik posted up about the difference of the p heads an gt 40. I am also running p heads and should have at least 300rwhp.
1. GT40P heads are 59cc's, which raise the compression a slight over the GT40 64cc champers.
2. GT40P's revised spark plug angle help with combustion.
3. The chamber of the GT40P is just a little more effecient, and helps resist detonation... its more of a fast burn chamber.
4. GT40P's flow a slight bit better out of the box, even with the smalerl exhaust valve, because of the higher velocity of the port design..
