RE: Removing quad shocks??
dont "remove" the quad shocks till you put in aftermarket
upper and lower control arms.if you take off the rear tires
you will see these small shocks mounted horizontally in back of
the brake drums, you can take them off with simple hand tools
the quad shocks get replaced with upper & lower contol arms

What does it mean to remove them? I will be running 15x8 welds in the back and have read i might need to remove the quad setup. What do they get replaced with?
can someone shed some light
thanks

RE: Removing quad shocks??
I ran the welds also with the 5 1/2 back space and had to pull the Quad shocks and ran stock control arms with E/T streets and never had any wheel hop at all running mid 11s but the car was a auto not a stick just cuz. one car has wheel hop dont mean yours will. The best thing to do is take them off and see if you get any hop.
