question, i have read on other post that i googled and looks like this is a common problem. One guy said that he cut the 2 gray wires from the back of the alt plug and ran both wires into 1 going to the battery and he said that fixed his problem..., any ideas because im running out of faith here!

Some of us do work during the day, like how im taking time of my final break of the day to maybe help you, so here we go.

1) no I do not have a pic, it looks like a spliced wire but usually looks a little thicker.

2) this is a statement, not a question, but is safe to say your alternator isn't working.

3) I would answer this a little more directly if I knew more about the wiring set up of the alternator. Sure, im a certified electrical tech, but can't do a thing without a diagram and im no longer fixing cars.

Convert to a 3G setup and you'll have to cut the greys and run your own wire anyway. Might as well do it.
