Default hey new here need some help and advice

so i have a 95 mustang gt 5.0l and having problems with engine so i bought and engine off a 99 explorer 5.0l with less mileage, but i need to know what changes i need to do in order for it to fit into my mustang, need to know whats gonna stay and whats gonna come off and any other changes. if anybody has done this let me know how. thanks in advance

So, you bought an engine without knowing what it would take to put it in?

Here's a detailed how to:

Remove old motor.

Install new motor.

On a serious note, use your headers, flex plate / flywheel, distributor, injectors, MAF and accessories.

i did my research and i kinda got an idea and my mechanic recommended it he knows how to do it, he has done it before and hes gonna help me out just kinda wanted to know what experiences or any tips you all had

get the old one out......set them next to each other and put the sensors and what not off the old one on the new one to avoid any issues.....put the new one in. That's how I do it.
