Default fuel problem

I recently was involved in an accident in my 1990 mustang gt the car was totaled but I was able to save the engine and trans.I purchased a 87 notch that already had wiring harness and eec from a mass air car, anyways after dropping my motor in it wont start the fuel pump is running and I changed the filter even put my gas tank in it.I can pour a lil gas in the throttle body and it will fire up til it burns the gas.It seems like the injectors arent firing but I checked the hot wire on the injectors with the key on its showing a steady hot and the ground checked out.I'm about to pull my hair out over this thing any help would be much appreciatted.

If the engine wasn't transplanted from a running vehicle, I'd say check the TFI/PIP. Since that isn't the case, you probably have a pinched wire in the injection harness from the motor swap.

There is a constant 12v positive to injectors with key on. The fuel pulse width is created by the ecm with negative pulse. Hook up a fuel pressure gauge. Use noid light for visual. Hear pump...crimped fuel line, plugges filter, hose above pump not clamped or split.

don't just assume it is the ecu. do an actual diagnostic. check for injector pulse. use a multimeter and check if the injectors are getting 12V. Always take steps, don't just throw random parts.
