Seat Swap Question...
I have a 93 vert. Original driver's seat and power motors were "toast". I found a set of seats from a 94 or 97 that are in much better shape. My question is: When I mount the seats and tighten down the bolts/nuts, the adjusting motors seem to bid up and don't want to move the seat. If I loosen up the fasteners, the seat moves ok. Are the floor pans on my 93 different and I'm torquing the seat frame when I snug it down? Guessing someone here has experienced this. TIA......Al

Nice one Adder. You took time out of your schedule to post that? Heartwarming, for sure!
OP, as Adder so eloquently stated, the best way to figure it out is to have a look at it. Take the seat out, measure the distance between the rails, and the distance between the mounting brackets and see if they line up. Go to the junkyard and check out the mounting studs in the Mustangs that you find that have the same seats. Note any differences. I remember a while back hearing that the SN 95 seats would go into a fox fairly easier but that newer ones would need some tweaking.
I took literally 10 seconds before finishing my post to search "SN 95 seats in a fox" on google, and the page lit up with at least a page (I didn't go any further) of results, including this one:

Have fun.

Thanks for the helpful comment Project 5.GO!.... I won't have a lot of free time to spend on this project till next week so I thought I'd ask here. My car is located across town and it will be the weekend before I can get over there again. The google search was helpful. Seems like most say the fronts either bolt right in or they use the fox tracks (which for me is not a option). Any way, thanks again for taking the time to post a helpful reply. Al
