Default vortech ignition control module thing removal.

car at one point had a supercharger which is gone now. im going to take off the ignition/boost control module thing.
it appears to me that the stock wiring comes out of the harness and has a connector at 'A' in the photo. that connector at 'A' is supposed to connect to the connector at location 'B'. I believe the wiring and connectors in area 'C' came with the vortech assembly. the wires leave the right side of the pic and go straight to the vortech module.

so stock setup is remove C, and put A into B, right?

also, is there any reason to leave the vortech ignition/boost control module installed?

thanks
