To: enix187 - Royal purple Max atf is the transmission fluid I used...
To: TrimDrip - There is no free play and no slop in the cable. I was told I am supposed to have some free play in the peddle, but when I do have free play in the peddle my clutch engages right off the floor.

i put the cable where it looks like the only way it would go on,the only wrong was i did not put the fire wall adjuster in.
as i shift i will put light pressure on the shifter toward 3rd gear and it will like push back and then slide into gear, some times it seems right but not allot, the other gears dont give me any problems, it almost feels like my clutch isn't disengaging all the way, but im scared to tighten it any more and screw up the throw out bearing, also there is only about 300 miles on it, could it need more time to get broken in?

You want the firewall adjuster. It makes adjusting the cable a whole lot easier. I used my stock cable with the firewall adjuster and I love it.
Yeah, there should be no slack in the pedal. If it is engaging at the floor, it probably needs adjusting.
