Default No start

I have a 89 5.0 with a vortech s trim. The car ran and then i started to have problems with idle and it starting. Now the car will not start. I have spark at the plugs. I tested fuel pressure and the first cycle of the key i only had 11psi, each cycle of the key it build more until it stopped at about 42psi. But the pressure bleeds off. Isnt it supposed to hold constant? The car has a t rex helper pump with the vortech kit. What could cause a no start like this? Please share your imput.

it will hold a little while usually but, it will bleed off. How quickly does it bleed off?

Have you tried spraying a little brake cleaner or something to start it?

Well you need to rent it again then. Should have held on to it, Autozone's policy on rental tools is basically this: once you rent it, its yours till you return it. The rental price is exactly the same as the cost of the item. Anyway, its always a good idea to recheck your results.

I used a test light and pulled one of the plugs going to the injector. It flashed when the motor was turned over.
