Default Under drive pullies

My birthday was on the 22nd and i got some underdrive pullies. I went to install them tonight and i can't get the altenator pully nut loose. it says to use an impact wrench to take it off but idont have one. Any suggestions? Thanks for any help

i used a pipe wrench on the alt pulley to hold it still. it made some nicks so i used a file to get rid of them. Use a rag to minimize the nicks and just put it on the outer part of the pulley not in the grooves.

Sometimes you can (with the belt still on) put a wrench on the nut, then hit it with a hammer to knock it loose enough to get it off. Notice I said....sometimes...

pull it off and use a vise by taking 2 pieces of wood and pull it a vise
