so my 1990 gt has been sitting in storage for the last three months. ran fine and started all summer for me. Now when i go to start it it wont start. It cranks over and will start for like 3 seconds and then shut off. Its getting fuel and the compression, spark, and vacuum hoses are all good.

It has always been a cold starter and has a cam and cold air intake but that's it for the mods. could it be the coil maybe?

Help would be appreciated.

how old is the gas in the tank?

 

the gas is a week old but there was like an 1/8 of a tank with 3 month old gas in it. no i have not tried jumoing it. how fast do i need to get it rolling before i pop the clutch.
