If i just got the explorer GT40p heads, and the GT40e manifold would that be CA legal?

how much HP would they add from the stock ones? What all do you have to do when you change the heads?

Well you will need the bare heads, and a valve train kit. The ones off of the fordracing website are supposed to add 40hp.

they are 600. I'd say that's a pretty good deal considering most other heads are 1,000 to 1,500.

damn, thats sweet. It will probley be a while from now till i get my heads. Next step, is my rear gears.
