Default pulleys

when i took my car i found out i have like power pulleys i think. they are small pulleys which are supposed to reduce the engine drag. however he said theyre making my power steering pump rotate slower and my altenator spin slower which doesnt charge my battery as much in idle and which tricks the computer and makes it think im low on voltage.

Default RE: pulleys

yeah, they do slow down your accesories. thats good though. means more power going to the wheels.

who cares if your p/s pump spins slower? it won't hurt a thing.

some people do have charging problems so they either leave the stock alternator pulley, or upgrade their alternator.

if they are on the car now and haven't been causing any problems leave 'em.
