Exclamation please help (waterpump)!!!

ok guys so I bought my first foxbody a few months back and needless to say I LOVE IT! but I have a problem the waterpump started leaking so I decided I would change it well in the process I broke off a bolt into the block so I drilled and helicoiled the hole, in the process I drilled a little to far and water started coming out of the hole just wondering now if anyone knows if this is a big problem or if water and oil will mix? THANKS IN ADVANCE.

here is a pic its not my block but to give you a idea the hole is circled in red

I wouldn't think you'd have a mix as a result, I imagine it's only water passages right there. I'd try to find where the hole is just to be sure, maybe even bring the block to a machine shop and see what they say. Chances are good all you need to do is put some silicon on the bolt, like you would with heads.

if you stick your finger in the actual water outlet for the pump the bolt has its own sleeve seperated from water. what I was thinking is what is between the walls of that sleeve as long as it is not oil I should be good

Ive changed water pumps on some that had the bolt hole threaded all the way into the water jacket and when you remove the bolt water came out. I dont think it will be a problem for you.
