Question Help cant get motor to run right!

Ok some background on my car first. 1986 GT no MAF conversion.
GT40 heads, a cam (unknown) BBK air cleaner.
Put in new TPS and adjusted it to 89v thats as high as it would go.

The guy that I bought the car from bought it from a guy who took off all the smog equipment smog pump hoses etc.
The guy I bought the car from tried to put it all back on but could not get it to idle right or pass smog looks like he put the smog pump back on and routed a few hoses and blocked some things off.

The idle surges really bad so I found a huge vac leak (pic 1) at the black tree on the fire wall. I capped off the 3 ports that it was leaking from and it wont idle at all so I uncapped them and went back to a surging idle at least it doesnt die. What lines go to where from this tree?

Picks 2&3 I need some help with as well there is nothing hooked up to this just a hose in a figure eight?

Pick #4 I just want to know what the round thing is attached behind intake its not getting vacuum.

Where is the EGR located? I cant find it might have been removed already.

Can I just pull off all the smog stuff? what do I need to block off? I dont care if it passes smog or not Im just gonna drag it on the weekends.

Help....

other than that love my old/new fox body!

The fact that the car is still speed density and has a head/cam swap is a problem in itself. SD can only compensate for slight changes in air intake... so if the heads/cam have increased the air flow, time to upgrade to mass air.

The thing at the back of the intake not getting vacuum is your PCV valve... it needs a hose run from it to one of the tubes at the base of the upper intake.

The EGR is the silver can attached to the throttle body and clearly visible in your last pic above.

As far as the smog stuff... take it ALL off. Cap off the holes at the back of each head, cap off the tube that is located on the passenger side of the H pipe, remove the pump and go with a shorter belt.

Sorry but its a mess of vac hoses in there and Im really confused as to where they go.

The PCV is next to the EGR?

Ok got it
I have no AC? and none of the lines in from the valve in pic #3 are hooked up to anything, when I block all the ports on that black tree on the drivers side fire wall my engine will not idle it just dies?
