1990 5.0 possible clutch help!
Ok so my baby was making some grinding noises for awhile. When the clutch wasn't touched it was grinding, when I pushed it in it stopped. After about a week of this I pushed into first somewhat hard and something broke I believe.
what happens now:
1.) When I start the car or push the clutch in the car goes right to stall if I don't give it any gas.
2.) When the clutch is pushed all the way in it squeels, almost like a bad fan belt, mixed with someone shaking a spray can.
3.) The car drives fine once in gear, it's just anything to do with the clutch being engaged makes it wanna stall. It isn't driveable for the most part, but I can keep the pedal down and shift very hard to get it to a shop/friend.
I'm trying to figure out what parts to buy, and hopefully get a cash mechanic to fix it.
What do you think could be wrong?
How long do you think it would take to fix?
What parts should I buy?
Thank you very much,

Well it's likely the pressure plate is gone but it could be the trow out bearing, or even the teeth on the clutch that's bad.
In short, don't take risk, but a clutch kit and a new flywheel. That way everything in there is new. The clutch kit will come with a new throw out bearing. A machine shop will have to resurface your current flywheel, however if it's damaged, don't bother with it, a new flywheel doesn't cost much more than some shops charge to refinish a flywheel.

So in total I should get a clutch kit and flywheel?
Someone had mentioned doing a "input bearing" as well? Not sure what all I should replace down there, abit short on cash these days but my job requires my car!!!

This is the clutch kit I was looking at: http://www.americanmuscle.com/exedy-...utch-8695.html
That 5 piece kit and the pressure plates in total?
Or what else other than that kit should I purchase to have everything nice and new down there?
Thanks allot for your time by the way, I really appreciate it!
