Thinking a bump in the road might have caused it to unlatch. Not entirely sure. I do know I'm very tedious in making sure the hood latches down securely whenever I close it. Damn fords.. haha.
In any case I found a shop that will do the repairs for around 300-400. With paint it will be around 600-700, but I planned on getting the whole car painted in the spring, so I'm going to hold off on the paint for now.
I really thought I was gonna be royally screwed with this. Now if the windshield had broken...
Yeah.. I see you're in MD too. I live in Montgomery County between Aspen Hill and Silver Spring. Lots of traffic, lots of idiots, lots of cops.
My insurance rates aren't exactly cheap .
