Hi i have a 94 GT. It keeps throwing up code 189 - Adaptive Fuel rich limit reached, left side.

The car is running rich, really hesistant and slow. Although it does sometimes clear for a few seconds and feels really strong and goes back to running rough.
I swapped the o2 sensors around but still showing the same code.Just wondered if anyone knows what could be causing this.

i kinda have the same problem man, i donno, BAD 02 sensor probley, I need to get me some 02 sensors also.

clean your MAF sensor and reset your computer

also set the tps, get new 02 sensors, with your code dose it say what is causing it?

Cleaned the MAF sensor and reset the ECU still throwing up the same code and this is all it says: 189 - Adaptive Fuel rich limit reached, left side. Even with swapping the o2 sensors from side to side.
