Default help!! my mustang is ****ed up!
My motor has 140k and it suddenly has a huge power loss, the car drives fine, but it has lost most its power. Anyone have an idea of what this could be, when it gets into the higher rpm range 3500 plus like all the power is gone.

maybe time for a new timingchain. could have jumped timing - give that a check.

Check the spark plugs and timing. I would also have the fuel pressure checked at that rpm, your pump could be going bad.

yep fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap and rotor, set timing, set tps and see what you get
