rocker adjustment??
Well guys as most of you know i just installed my b cam and the car recently had svo 1.6 roller rockers...but the problem i am having is a "friend" said he adjusted the rockers but they are way wrong..so i was just wondering if anyone had a wright up or some advice would be great cause this is my know how so far...Make sure both valve's are closed and get the rocker at zero lash"turn the pedastal mount bolt just until there is slight resistance in the push rod and no up and down play"set the toruqe wrench to 20 ft/lb's and tighten the rocker,if it take's 1/4 turn or less i need longer push rod's but if it take's more than 1 full turn i need to shim the rocker with a 0.30 shim so the ideal turn ratio would be more than a 1/4 and less than 1 full turn correct?? sorry so long but this is my first time messing with pedastal "ex-chevy guy"[:-]

RE: rocker adjustment??
seriously try what he said. you should finger tite them then apply 20FTLBS to them. the pushrod should still spin but shouldnt move up or down and shouldnt press down the springs
