Code 334 and hesitation after rain?
From what I read it flashed a 334 and then 111 or 1111 (I guess the "system ok" code?)
This morning it had a noticeable hiccup while cruising and the CEL was going on and off, seemingly at random. For a while even at part-throttle revving at a stop it has felt like it had a miss or something.. the odd "misfire" sound.
We just had a ton of heavy rain last night so I am guessing the sputtering is either from water entry somewhere or that it made a ground go sour. Haven't had time to go and clean up all of the contact points (ignition coil mount, all grounds, etc) but I suspect it might help...but it is odd it didn't get a code for the ignition system. 334 is for the EGR I read? The car has no smog pump, either. I haven't checked the TPS sensor for a dead spot (happened on two of my Thunderbirds..).
Thoughts, anyone? Input is appreciated before I dig this weekend. Thanks.
1995 5.0 5-speed
Headers, catted h-pipe, no mufflers
Aluminum drive shaft, 3.73s, 75mm TB
That's all I know of..it is stock otherwise.

It still misfires periodically..but it feels like it goes "in and out" of doing it.
Honestly I haven't really checked the car out much. It runs..pings a bit under hard throttle and has the miss to it. At idle I wouldn't say it sounds entirely right..it always runs and drives and pulls hard, but it just sounds like it is running 10% off most of the time.
The BAD hesitation stopped once the car dried out. On the next nice day I will probably do a tune up and check the timing and grounds..honestly it is laziness at this point. Also someone mentioned it could be a bad O2 sensor connection? I see there is a plug mounted to the lower control arm...possibly water got in it?
You notice the misfire the most when you just roll at light throttle in a lower gear...as the rpms rise you will hear/feel it miss..but it is random...and sounds like it is only on one cylinder at a time...that muted "pop" you hear through the pipes and the stutter.
