Default stalling

I am new here. I just bought a 1988 mustang gt from a buddie and have had 1 major problem that has been eating at me. The car runs great as the previous owner took great care of it, but when i start the car and put it in reverse it dies. I restart and give it gas and it dies again. I restart and drive off and everything is normal until I stop and put it in reverse again. it also does the same in drive but not as bad. I recently replaced the tps and plugs and fuel filter. A friend had thought it might be a loose motor mount and the engine pulling on the vacuum hoses but I cant visually see any damaged hoses? Any help would be great thanks....

Also check the normal idle problem parts, IAC sticking, MAF needs cleaning, TPS voltage or bad spot, etc., and check for any vacuum leaks.
