Default New headers, burning maybe?

I just installed new BBK unequals (ceramic coated) two days ago, and after I've been driving like a mad man for a couple minutes I can smell what I think are the headers because it is a new smell to me... Is this normal for the headers to be "settling in" or something like that? Kinda worried...</P>

If its jet hot coated, it shouldnt burn off, but otherwise it does to an extent.

Did it really? My install took about 3 hours for both sides... They were unequal length which I here is a lot easier than the equal lengths.
