Hey guys. I've torn into a 5.0 from a 98 Explorer. I ordered a gasket kit from Summit Racing (Fel-Pro KS 2328). This kit came with the terrible umbrella style valve stem seals (they don't even look remotely close to what I need) and a two piece rear main seal. I've been looking for a full engine gasket kit that comes with a one piece rear main and the "positive style valve stem seals" for the past 3 hours. Can anyone point me in the right direction to a good gasket set for my latemodel 302? Thanks. -Joe

Here's what I have. They even sent me two different sizes.


Here's the two piece rear main. If I'm correct the latemodel 302s have one piece seals.


Here's the valve stem seals I've been looking to find with a complete Engine Kit.

you need positive type seals like such from here:

Op just needs to spend some moneys on that cutter tool for the seals. I've been using the same one for nearly 20 years now and have done numerous sets for people....
Those tools seem to last forever.......
