right now i have a hooker 2 1/2 cat back w/ h pipe and flowmaster 2 1/2---2 chamber

im planing onbuying some bbk shorty eq length headers soon

my question is:::should i stick w/ my hooker cat back and h pipe or

go w/ the bbk h pipe and cat back (does the bbk have any real hp gains over the hooker)

im also getting 70mm bbk throttle body w/ bbk cold air, bbk alum underdrive pulleys

also what advantage/disadvantage will i have if i put a 1 chamber flowermaster muffler

could i even do that? thanks for any responses!

A. Get equal tube, mid length...better yet, long tube....headers. You'll make a LOT more power under the curve.

B. Get an X pipe. H's can't even hold a candel to an X.

C. Ditch the Flows**tters and get...say, Magnaflow mufflers, or if you're cheap (like me), get DynoMax UltraFlows.

i say dont get anything until your sure you are doing the 351 or 426. theheaders wont fit the small and big blocks. it would be a waste of $ to have them for a couple of months. for cat-back i would stay with what you have, it wont make a big differance. but go with longtubes!! for x pipes Bassani has tons of em. i actually have a similar question- what x-pipe will work with the MACs, do i need a custom one??? and what work and price goes into a custom x-pipe ??
