Default need help 88 gt wont start

My 88 gt 5spd. died while driving, wont turn over, battery good, no dash lights or radio but do have chime when key in ignition and door open, and have headlights. I tried leaving key on and taking a wire and jumping starter relay, car turned over but still didn't start. Where do I start, lost.

Jim did you check for power on the little elbow that is connected to the starter selonoid with a test light clutch pedal depressed of course...........position test light so you can see it with hood open so you don't need a second person.

when you jump the starter relay and it cranks Jim, you need to check for injector pulse via a noid ight and test for spark with a inline spark tester............my bet is there is a power feed missing to something down on the ignition switch but without checking for power on each input leg, you'll be hunting for a needle in a haystack, the key is to narrow it down to one circuit and back trace, my bet is there is spark and or inj pulse missing as well due to a bad fusible ink, bad eec power relay or a wire off somewhere that is common to a few circuits, but you'll need a complete diagram of everything and I don't like what is posted on the net....alldata diagrams are more accurate from what I've seen.

jim, I printed out a wiring diagram from all data and as I suspect the ign switch feeds ecm, coil, tfi, ect ect.........if there is a lack of power/12v from the ign switch we can confirm it by testing a few other circuits, check for power/12v on the R/LG wire to the coil, should have 12v in run position, if no 12v there as well, go down to the ign switch, unplug it and check for 12v on the two heavy gauge yellow wires.......these are the battery feed and are fused by fuse link A , 16 gauge black......need to see if the ign switch is being feed, if not, we back trace from there and find the gremlin.
