Default Fox won't start any help would be great

I have a 88 gt. I pulled engine and Trans to do my build put it back in. I did a mass air conversion with a A9L computer. Everything is hooked up but it will not start. I can turn key to on position fuel pump turns on. When I go to turn it over it does nothing not a sound at all. If I leave key on and jump the silonide it fires right up and runs. Can anyone help me with this.

Check the wire to the solenoid first. If it has power when you turn the key then your solenoid is dead.

Im gonna just take a stab at it ,

But my guess is either Neutral Safty Switch (auto) or Clutch Interlock Switch (manual).

Check the wiring at one of those places , make sure switches are working and adjusted properly.

An easy way to check thisis to move the shifter left to right if its a manual, half the time if its the neutral switch it will crank. For an auto put it into neutral and move the shifter slightly between r and d, if it cranks its the switch.

I changed out the neutral clutch safety switch and it still does nothing. If I put a 5 amp fuse in the black connector it will start. I've check all wires on transmission everything is hooked up tight. I'm lost don't know what to try next.

Which black connector are you referring to for the 5 amp fuse ?

There's also a clutch safety switch down by the pedals to check also.

Post back with any updates.
