Ahhhhh only doing a one wheel peel...
I had 3.73's put in a few months ago and have driven about 1000 miles since the install...just recently I noticed only the right tire was spinning when I did a burnout. Traction loc need to be rebuilt? And if so is it a difficult job?

Yep time to rebuild it. Pretty easy to do. Just pull carrier out, knock S-spring out with hammer and punch, then rotate spider gears and the side gears will come out. Soak new clutches in friction modifier before installing them for about 1 hour. Then stack the clutches and steels in the same order that they came out in, (clutch, steel, steel, clutch) and then reverse order of removal. There is a shim that goes in between the carrier and the side gears. Usually just replacing the shim with one of the same thickness or a little thicker will work.
One trick I can tell you about reinstalling the S-spring. Clamp half the spring in a vise with the S shape up. Then take a pair of vise grips and clamp the other half of the spring. Slowly loosen vise so you make sure spring doesn't fly out. Then take spring and vise grip to carrier and push it into the carrier as far as possible. Then use a hammer to bang it on in.

When the gears were change, did they make sure to add some friction modifier to the oil? If not that is what caused the clutches to burn up. If they did add the modifier then its most likely that they were close to needing replaced any ways.

It depends on how much experience you have. But probly about as long as it took to do the gears since you have to break the rear down again to do it. Only the spider gears need to come out this time, but its much easier to do with the carrier out.

This is definitely something you can do yourself. No special tools required, just a little effort on your part and maybe 3-4 hrs start to finish your first time.
I'm just a shade tree mechanic and when I rebuilt mine last summer, it was really straight forward, common sense stuff.
Plus there's the satisfaction of laying 2 black marks down because of the work that YOU did.
I know I'm probably a little late with this advice, just got back from vacation.

No your not too late...I actually havnt attempted to do it yet. Thanks for the info, I should be able to do it. I usually do a lot of things myself on my car so I should be fine. Definitely gonna lay down a nice long strip when it's done lol maybe I will post a pic of it haha
