Default looking for some suggestions....

hello every one....i am looking to make some up grades to me stang, and i was wondering if you could help me out if i am headed in the right directions...right now i got a cobra intake, 65 mm throttle body, stock mass airflow. e 303 cam, stock e7 heads, shorty unequal legth headers, with 2 and half inch exhaust.....and no gears in the rear end...

i know i need bigger heads and im going to get afr 165's....and a bigger intake....can you help me with cam suggestions gears and other little things that will help me out some....car is for daily drive and weekends at the track....

any help will be greatly apprecialted...thank you..

hey there man,
Sounds like a pretty cool car. I think ur headed in the right direction except if it were me, Id keep the cobra intke, its good up to about 350 horsepower. Just get the Afr's and used the other money to throw some 3.73's in the back. Oh and if u can get a bigger MAF.

thanks guys...i will definatly make sure i get a bigger mass air flow...would 73 or 76mm be ok....but thanks again guys....

Hey there,
yes a 73 mm maf would be fine. Like i said if u put gears in your car it will be a night and day difference esp with the mods u have and are planning. I have a 92 Gt that im getting ready to build into a bad street car and the body will look like a 93 cobra.

i would go with the C&L 76mm MAF kit it works great and also i recommend 3.55 since it sounds like you have a manual and its a DD. You can keep the cobra intake if you want but just it ported

yes my car is a manual...it is an 88 gt with an 89 motor in it...i built the motor in an 89 vert...and i put the motor in my new car....i appreciate all the help you guys are giving me...and still looking forward to more ideas if there are any...i do want to get my car to hit respectable numbers at the track.....

and carlo sounds like you are building a sweet ride your self..



all ideas are greatly appreciated..... on intakes, gears, and all other accessories...thanks
