Default clutch questions

I have a 66 but it has a new T5 with a 92 block based 347. I have converted it to a hydraulic clutch. I am currently running a dual friction clutch with a slave outside the trans.

It is now time to get a new clutch, So

What is the best clutch for a very hard driven street car. I will take it to a strip once in while.

would I get better performance with a hydraulic throwout bearing instead of using my current slave cylinder.I i have had several issues with it coming out of adjustment
with the current adjustment stud. So i frequently need to jack it up and readjust it. even after using a jam nut and thread lock.

No, it's because it's quite easy to look up, what kind of clutch to use, to your
specifications; Stage 1 - 3, simple as that.

External slaves are just easier and cheaper to replace.

They can loosen up because the internal ones have no where to go with
pressure, they are against the bell housing from the inside, so that is the
stop. Outside, with hot, colt, and pressure, they can work loose, as there
is nothing behind it keeping it from moving.
