Default 1986 GT Vert saved from rotting

Last week my friend bought a black 1986 GT convertable that was sitting in a guy's yard for 18 months. It looked as though it had 4 flat tires but in reality the wheels had just sunk 4" into the ground over time. We dropped a new battery in and she fired right up! Anyway, we are in the process of cleaning her up and she already looks great and runs strong. Check out the before and after pics:

It looks good man. Keep up with the good work. Do you have any plans for the car?

It's actually my housemate's car. I have two Mustangs myself so I am going to help him clean it up. His plan is basically to clean it up and get it running strong (tune up etc.) over the winter and then get it registered and on the road next spring.
