I'm not sure either. Autel couldn't tell me much save for the vehicle wasn't compatible even thought it is listed as compatible.

I used to be able to jump the pins fine. It doesn't work anymore. I think that's another reason the mechanic thought it was the computer.

If you really want the ability to datalog that car, you need to find a moates quarterhorse....It can see every pin on the ecm pretty much...I could see and change 524 scalers, 84 functions, and 19 different tables with the moates quarterhorse
Wow, I just went down a rabbit hole looking at Tweecer and megasquirt. Thanks for the info. Those are definitely worth looking into.
