since you want to use the cobra intake port it out and it will flow better

you can use any intake you choose as long as the rpm range start at 1500 or so... remember you don't have to buy new heads as you can find them around 750-800 used ..or you could use a gt40p head....a 1.84- 1.90 intake valve head is all you need so you can pass smog and make good low-midrange horsepower

as long as the head isn't aluminum i'm guessing the smog guy cant tell the difference?
