How much lift can you get overall before your springs grind, there are new honeycomb springs that allow higher lift without grind. I was reading some magazine and it said that putting in 1.7 roller rockers is like putting a .035 or .030 lift onto the cam, is this true?


Anyone know of some valve covers tall enough to allow 1.7s, not need an intake spacer and still clear the intake?

Yes, it is like adding .03" lift to the cam. Just get thincker gaskets, Summit caries them.
