How does you car benifit from a performance distributor? What is different about my stock distributor and a MSD distributor? 92 5.0 lx

The better the spark, the better and more efficant the car burns gas. Which helps it run better and cleaner. Hope that helps. It's more or less in lamens terms.

Performance distrib are built better and stronger. They break a lot less than stock and they also are constructed better which allows better adv timing setting, higher RPMs while still maintaining optimum performance, and allow a more efficient spark...which was what was stated above.

If you are looking for performance gains from a aftermarket....don't look too hard. It is just one of those necessary items if you want high RPM huge power. But still doesn't mean that you cant have it.

I have a stock 5.0 and have a MSD Pro Billet distrib in mine.
