Default Head Machine Work

I just dropped off my gt40p heads at the machine shop. Im getting them acid bathed, magnafluxed, checked for straight, 5 angle valve job, new springs, retainers, keepers - for about 200 bucks. a lot cheaper than i thought it would be. just thought i would share that info, next step is i'm gonna buy a block from that shop too.

Yeah I'm building a whole new engine so there isnt any downtime on my mustang and i can just get parts when i have the money instead of rushing to get it done. and when i get most of the way done with my new engine im gonna part out my old engine for money.

ok good, the only reason i said that was incase you get in a wreck. i've had lots of friends with built 5.0's and GM f-bodies that crashed, or got hit by a drunk driver (that's the worst)... and a couple were screwed out of a lotta money... there's a lot to consider with an engine build in a street car :P
