I agree...I just think you can be mechanically enclined. Some people aren't and some people are.

If you said it in a different post, then you're wrong in two places.

Fuel injection can infinitely adjust the A/F ratio. Carbs can't. Fuel injection therefore has the potential for making more power.

Why does one have to be better than the other? They both co-exist in the same world. Some people use carbs, some people use EFI. That's the way it is, and the way it's going to be for a long time. Each has it's advantages and disadvantages. The truth is, anybody in here (budget willing) can go however fast they want whether they choose carburetion or EFI. Some race classes restrict the cars to carbs, so there really isn't an option. Said cars also are able to drive down the street and run a 9 second quarter mile any given day. EFI is a great advancement in automotive technology for many reasons. But carbs still have their place, and no matter what anybody says, they're not outdated, because a vast majority of the original muscle cars on the road today still use carbs and have massive amounts of power on tap. This thread or any other thread will never answer the question "which is better?" because it's a matter of opinion. It depends on what you're using it for.
