Hello all

I have a 87 notchback that i'll be swapping a 5.0 in shortly (also out of an 87) Can I just plug my 4cyl connections in, cause preliminary looks say yes (I have the 5.0 computer also)... otherwise i'll just go ahead and carb it like my original plans were...

yes you need to swap over the harness, the main harness with the comp # needs to match up to the # on the comp it self. i dont think you can just use any 5.0 comp. you will also need the fuel injected harness.

I'm sure the computers use the same 60 pin type connector but swapping shouldn't be too hard.

you have to swap the harness bc they wont match up you need a new main harness and injector harness

the 4 cyl harness only uses 4 injectors,

it isnt hard to change out the harness. it just takes some patience and mabye a little beer.
