Well, I'd say that with a 13yr old car.....the shocks are probably toast.

Could be alot of things:
Ball joints
Tie rod ends
Tires

what i should do about it?
To test the shocks you push down on the front end a few times, get it hopping. Then stop and see how many times it "bounces" before it stops. Or, if the shocks are original replace the damn things. Don't be a cheapskate

Another thing to check while your checking things
sway bar bushings

good set of shocks is not all that expensive.. even if they arent bad.. mine as well replace them if there the originals.. and with 13 years old id say alot of the bushings need to be replaced.. when i got mine i had to replace a few on the driver side.. so while i was in there i just went mad and started replacing them all.. then the bouncing went away..

if you are feeling like it is bouncy or like a boat ride (up and down) like over a bridge, probably shocks.. but like everyone said, could be a number of things.

what kind of springs do you have?

Not from me... I would do what everyone else suggested and it should stop.
